Krytox™ GPL 297 is a special synthetic grease for the lubrication of roller and friction bearings, lifting cylinders, joints, guides and components of respiratory protection. It has excellent low temperature properties. It has a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability than conventional lubricants. It is extremely temperature and pressure resistant, non-flammable and incombustible. Krytox™ GPL 297 is chemically inert, oxygen compatible and resistant to aggressive chemicals. It does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 297 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
