Krytox™ GPL 105 consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE), a liquid and very inert fluoropolymer. It is a high-performance oil with outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. Krytox™ GPL 105 is chemically inert, oxygen compatible and resistant to aggressive chemicals. It is extremely resistant to temperature and pressure and is non-flammable and incombustible. Krytox™ Compared to conventional lubricants, GPL 105 has a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability. Krytox™ GPL 105 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 105 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
