Krytox™ GPL 225 is a high-performance grease with an anti-corrosion additive and, compared with conventional lubricants, offers a significantly longer service life, greater stability and greater reliability. It has outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. Krytox™ GPL 225 It is highly resistant to temperature and pressure, non-flammable and incombustible. Krytox™ GPL 225 is chemically inert, oxygen compatible and resistant to aggressive chemicals. Krytox™ GPL 225 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 225 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
