Krytox™ GPL 226 is a high performance grease with corrosion protection additive with outstanding chemical, thermal and mechanical properties. Compared to conventional lubricants, it offers a significantly longer service life, higher stability and greater reliability. Krytox™ GPL 226 is highly resistant to temperature and pressure. It is non-flammable and incombustible. chemically inert, oxygen compatible and resistant to aggressive chemicals. Krytox™ GPL 226 does not migrate even at high temperatures, is silicone- and chlorine-free and does not release volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the atmosphere.
The fluorinated oils and greases of the Krytox™ series are preferably used where complete non-flammability, oxygen compatibility and resistance to aggressive chemicals are desired.
Krytox™ GPL 226 is insoluble in conventional solvents. Special solvents are required for diluting, cleaning and removing Krytox™ products.
